General enquiries should be emailed to chem-nmr@manchester.ac.uk, University of Manchester users should log requests and enquiries in the PPMS system.
Aminata Sakho (aminata.sakho@manchester.ac.uk) and Carlo Bawn (carlo.bawn@manchester.ac.uk) are Technical Specialists in NMR and run the NMR services in Chemistry and MIB respectively. They should be contacted in the first instance for general NMR queries, staff-run service matters, and advice on spectrum interpretation.
Daryl Bamber (daryl.bamber@manchester.ac.uk) is an NMR Technician and responsible for cryogen fills and other day-to-day maintenance of the NMR equipment and NMR laboratories in the department. He should be contacted for any issues relating to the walk-up instruments and user logins, and is the first contact for any instrument-related issues.
Both Aminata and Daryl work out of B.23A and can generally be found somewhere in the basement NMR facility between 9:30 am and 17:00. Carlo works out of the MIB NMR facility.
